Answer:

The archeaologists study the remains of buildings made of bricks, painting and sculpture. They also dig under the surface of earth to fknd tools, weapons, ports, pans and ornament and coins.

5. Why do you think ordinary men and women did not generally keep records of what they did?

Answer:

The ordinary men did not keep a reward of what they did beacouse they di,d not known how to read and write. There was specialized class of people called scribes who recorded all the events.

6. Describe at least two ways in which you think the lives of kings would have been different from those of farmers.

Answer: 

The king led a luxurious life. He made all the decision for the society and looked  after their welfare. They led the armies in war.

Farmers: They worked very hard to grow crops for the people. They led an ordinary life, where he could barely fulfill his needs.

Answer:

Carfts person are the people who make things at home with simple tools and with the help of family members.

The different carfts are: (a)Spinning and weaving of cloth on handloams, (b) Blacksmiths (c)Pottery making (d) Inely work.

The carfts person can both be men and women. Some carfts like work of blacksmith can be done mainely by men. Some other like pottery making is done men & women.
8. What were the subjects on which books were written in the past? Which of these would you like to read?

Answer:

The book dealt with all kind of subject like religious beliefs and practices, the live of kings medicine and science. In addition there were epics, poems and plays. The most popular eplcs  of india are ramayana and mahabharta. would Ilike to read these two books.
