1. Fabric: Fabric is made from yarns using clothing material like cotton, silk, wool and polyester.
2. Spinning: The process of making yarn from fabric is called spinning.
3. Yarns: Yarns are made up of fabric.
4. Cocoon of silkworm: Silk fiber is drawn from the cocoon of silkworm.
6. Warm climate: Cotton plants are usually grown at places having black soil and warm climate.
7. Cotton bolls: Cotton from cotton bolls is usually picked by hand.
8. Ginning of cotton: Fabric is separated from the seeds by combing. This process is called ginning of cotton.
9. Takli: A simple device used for spinning is a hand spindle, also called takli.
11. Weaving: The process of arranging two set of yarns together to make a fabric is called weaving.
12. Knitting: Knitting is done by hand and also on machines.
13. Variety of clothing: Fabric are used for a variety of clothing items.

15. Types of fabric: there are two types of fabric.

20. Spinning of yarns: Takli and charkha is pinning of yarns.
