Q2. A kite is flying at a height of 50 m above the ground. The string attached to the kite is temporarily tied to a point on the ground. The inclination of the string with the ground is 30°. Find the length of the string, assuming that there is no slack in the string.
Q3. A leader is 15 m long. It can be kept against a wall at an angle of 600. How far its foot should be kept on ground from wall so that it fits completely with upper portion of wall.

Four Marks Questions:
Q5. A strong rope was tied to the top of a 20 m high pillar to keep it standing and another end of rope was tied to a peg at the angle with ground of 60०. At what height from ground rope should be tied to this pillar so that the angle between ground and rope becomes 45०.
Q6. The shadow of a vertical tower on level ground increases by 10 m when sun’s attitude changes from 45° to 30°. Find the height of the tower, upto one place of decimal. (take √3 = 1.73)
Q7. The angle of elevation of the top of the tower from two points A and B which are 15m apart, on the same side of the tower on the level ground are 30° and 60° respectively. Find the height of the tower and distance of point B from the base of the tower. (take √3 = 1.73)
