Answer: Sandburg thinks the fog is like a small cat.

Answer: The fog cames on little cat feet that is without making any noise.

(iii) What does ‘it’ in the third line refer to?

Answer: It refers the fog.

(iv) Does the poet actually say that the fog is like a cat? Find three things
that tell us that the fog is like a cat.

Answer: Yes, the poem actually says that the fog is like a cat. It comes sowely like a cat. It remains hanging silently as if a cat is standing. It moves on like a cat.
